The idea of Reignite began while Tim Kampen was on a world tour with Barrage 8. After the tour ended, Tim began to recruit colleagues from the commercial string program at Belmont and put together a cast of electric violinists with the support of Kayleigh Moyer on drums.

Presently, Reignite is touring the US with a cast of rotatating musicians with an original motion picture and conducting educational programs to inspire the next generation to find their passion.

Tim Kampen - Cellola and 5 string Cello

Tim has played for artists such as JohnnySwim, Brantley GilbertDevin Dawson at world-renowned venues like the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. and Orpheum Theatre. He now is innovating a new tuning for cello and is composing for his jazz group, Expedition along with Reignite.
